Terms of Use
Agreeing to these terms
By ticking the box at setup and using Exetasis you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app, and uninstall it.
What the app is
Exetasis is a personal habit tracker. Each night it asks how your day went, scores it out of 100 against a list of habits you can edit, and judges it against a target and against your own recent average. It is blunt by design.
Buying the app
Exetasis is sold through Google Play in the United Kingdom for £2.99, paid once. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription, and nothing in the app is locked behind a further payment. Payment, refunds and your Google account are handled by Google Play under Google Play's own terms and refund policies. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Updates are free. Keep your own backup (Settings > Your data & privacy > Back up database) if your record matters to you: it is the only copy, and it lives on your phone. Feedback is welcome and may be used to improve the app, without any obligation to you.
Not medical advice
The app is not a medical device and does not give medical, psychological, nutritional or fitness advice. The default list is weighted by the developer's reading of general health evidence, as a starting point only. Scores, verdicts and messages are not a diagnosis or an assessment of your health. Nothing in the app replaces a doctor, a therapist or emergency services. If you are struggling, or thinking about harming yourself, contact a doctor or your local emergency number now; in the UK you can call Samaritans on 116 123 at any time.
Do not do any habit, exercise or diet change the app lists unless it is safe for you.
Your use
You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for what you enter, for keeping your phone secure, and for the habits you choose. Do not try to break, reverse-engineer for resale, or misuse the app.
Your data
Your record stays on your phone and belongs to you. See the Privacy Policy for what the app keeps and how to delete it.
No warranty
The developer aims to fix faults that are reported and takes care to keep your record safe, but cannot promise the app will be free of mistakes. To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect loss arising from your use of the app, including lost data you could have backed up. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Ending
You can stop at any time by deleting your data and uninstalling the app. The developer can stop selling or updating the app at any time; the copy on your phone keeps working, because it needs no server.
