Deleting your data
The developer holds none of your data
Exetasis has no accounts and no internet permission. Everything it records stays on your phone. The developer never receives it, so there is no server copy to delete and nothing anyone else can delete for you.
How to delete everything
In the app: Settings > Your data & privacy > Delete all my data. Type DELETE to confirm. This removes, from the phone:
- the database with your whole record;
- its automatic copies (backups);
- crash reports;
- the app's settings and setup;
and puts your own wallpaper back if the app was drawing it. The app then starts again as if newly installed.
Or uninstall the app. Android removes everything the app stored.
Files you exported yourself (a workbook or database file you saved or shared) are not touched by either - delete them where you put them.
Your purchase is recorded by Google Play in your Google account, not by the developer or the app. Google's own settings (myaccount.google.com) cover that record.
Asking the developer
If you have a question about deletion, or want written confirmation that the developer holds none of your record, email [CONTACT EMAIL - set dm.supportEmail in gradle.properties, then rebuild] with the subject "Data deletion". You will get a reply within 30 days. You do not need to send any of your data to ask.
